My thinking was that it was a conflict with the IPAC2 but like I meantion it works in the menu just wont exe the game.Īny assistance greatly appreciated as I have 3 more to build yet. It might be the simpliest of things but I have burnt all logic on this matter this week so am looking for a nudge in the right direction.

I have spent MANY hours in the last week searching for the answer but am at a loss.

The problem I am having is that I can get all the games working and all flowing nicely on my laptop, as soon as I transfer ever onto the MAME's I can get everything to run beautifully (SEGA gen, PSX, N64 and so on) but when I go into MAME all the games are there, I can move around using controllers (IPAC2 setup) but I cannot execute the game launch, its just "Boing!" (best way to describe it) have tried downloading an ipac2.cfg and all the keys work but no matter what I do the games wont launch. I have 2 MAME system running Hyperspin but I want to upgrade to Arcade Maximus as it has all the filters etc and I have kids playing these systems. I can see all of the games in Maximus Arcade, but when I run them, it shows that all of the files required are missing filename.bin NOT FOUND for all files in the zip, then finally Required files are missing, the game cannot be run in the RetroArch logs).

Sorry to jump in on a post that is marked "Solved" but I have an on going issue that is driving me mad.
